Yep, that's what I'm doing. I'll thank Chris Lott for his suggestion, and I am steadily increasing my steps by just continuing to walk during lunch breaks. I work in downtown Fairbanks, but due to the Beautification Project, there are actually several nice walking routes right along side the Chena River.
The scenery isn't the greatest, but some of the buildings are actually pretty interesting. Many are fairly new. I'll probably take some pictures of stuff around, and post them later on.
So I've been walking just fine, but not blogging as much. The end of the semester, with all of its business, and who knows what else.... I've got some pictures of the Squiggly routes, and will get those up later this week. The weather has been beautiful, and a little breeze is nice. It keeps you cooled down a bit while walking for longer periods of time.
I am looking forward to searching for more poker chips too. I think I'll be able to walk to two of the locations this week. I'll post the results right here when I find them.
